PSG: How do you keep up the level of courage and energy necessary to meet your stretch goals?
Lucia: Every day, when I wake up in the morning, I remind myself what my purpose is and why I do what I do.
Just by placing and sharing my words with the universe I am receiving all the right inspiring feelings that help me filling my morning cup of courage.
Green tea in one hand and confidence in the other, my perfect breakfast recipe to kick the day with courage!
Meditation also, plays an important role to maintain up my level of courage. It sets my whole system to readiness; readiness to take actions, readiness to the next step, readiness to inspire, readiness to rest, readiness to start again.
PSG: What have been your best ‘support systems’ in terms of keeping you motivated to continually learn and grow?
Lucia: Coaching, family, my open-minded friends and nature are my four pillars that form my best support system.
Every each one of them has played and plays an important role. I wouldn’t be where I am now if it wasn’t for all of them.
For me support is like the yeast for the cake. If you don’t add it to the mix it won’t grow.
PSG: What can we do as coaches to honour our true selves in our coaching practice?
Lucia: We need to stay authentic. What we do really inspire others. When we show as we are, we give the example of how beautiful and powerful is to be fully ourselves and to be able to create what we want.
Our values are our lanterns on the road of our journey and we need to keep them light to brighten up our path.
As suggested I would love to conclude with one of my favorite quotes by Maya Angelou:
“If you don’t like something, change it. If you can’t change it, change your attitude”
