Answers from Sara de Miguel Hernandez,
October Coach of the Month
PSG: How do you keep up the level of courage and energy necessary to meet your stretch goals?
Sara: I do it by looking really well after myself both my mind and my body. During my yoga training, I learnt a lot of different techniques to support me physically as well as mentally. If I don’t meditate after I wake up, I feel it the rest of the day so I ensure I start the day with a good nutritious breakfast and a 20 minutes meditation practice which helps me to be centred and have the energy to carry on with my day.
PSG: What have been your best ‘support systems’ in terms of keeping you motivated to continually learn and grow?
Sara: In order to keep improving and be the best version of myself, I have regular coaching sessions with my own life coach. I love attending personal development workshops and courses and I stay connected with other coaches creating a really nice supporting system.
PSG: What can we do as coaches to honour our true selves in our coaching practice?
Sara: I believe being authentic and living by my own values. Walking the walk as they say. From the minute the client connects with me, either by my website/ social media, in person or in the chemistry check, I am true to myself and what I believe in. This ensures a very good connection with my clients which assists me to support them in the best possible way and the clients getting the most out of the coaching sessions.
