Today I was reflecting on the importance of forming quality human connections to support our well-being. Forming a sense of belonging with other people has elevated my personal resilience to a whole new level. Throughout the human exchange of energy and information, my quality thinking has been shaped and re-shaped to give birth to a new high level of engagement within the community that has allowed me to stand for what matters to me. Furthermore, what in the past I used to resist, I can now embrace, and vice-versa. Similarly, what used to trigger me personally, has become the signal to regulate myself. In many ways, forming quality human connections have made me a better human being.
All groups that I belong to, work colleagues, neighbours, family and friends have the potential to add to my personal growth. For this reason, I have learned to take very seriously the task to create and maintain positive personal relationships. Being congruent within my values and boundaries have helped to maintain my identity at safe. In return, my identity has gained strength thanks to the quality of human connections I have formed. Knowing my value as a human being has made the energy exchange within the group clear. For instance, there are communities that I want to belong and there are others to which I don’t want to belong. Therefore, I will only commit my time and energy to the ones that serve my values and purpose. As a result, my energy is focused on the quality of human connections that support my well-being. More importantly, accepting who I am and what I stand for has opened up a very unique place within the community of people I belong to, because together we get to exchange energy and information within a circle of trust that elicits mutual values and purpose in life. The power and responsibility that comes within that trust hold me accountable to belong within a high level of engagement and truth in the fair energy exchange. Belonging to a quality human community of people allow my passions and talents to serve a bigger purpose. Perhaps it might be fair to say that one of the reasons that forming quality human connections supports well-being is because it extends the possibilities existing within the mind of an individual to others and vice-versa. Exchanging perspectives, thoughts, emotions and feelings within a quality community that reflects your passions and talents offers a great opportunity for internal growth and well-being.
As a coach, I belong to a quality community of coaches that strengths and supports my wholesystem for quality coaching. The need to exchange energy and information with the Quality Coaching Circle keeps my values, boundaries and therefore my identity on track. It is a way to keep my “biological being” regulated. In other words, keep working on my emotional response blueprint at a steady pace to supports my well-being and the quality of coaching I can offer my clients.
In practising to identify, access, understand and respond to the patterns of my own internal signals within the quality human energy and information exchange, I get to honour my input within this quality coaching community as well as to strengthen my identity as a coach. Furthermore, the trust within these connections keeps expanding and growing to new high levels of awareness that benefits both. Hence the importance of forming quality human connections to support our well-being.
