PSG: What is the main reason people come to you for coaching and wellness?
I like to think that I am fairly approachable and I don’t have any fixed solution. By actively listening to the client, I get a picture of where they are, and where they want to go. By facilitating the building of goals and targets I give clients a platform to work off. I then focus on the areas of Fitness & Activity as well as Wellbeing to foster the achievement of those goals. The client feeling fit and well is always my basis for coaching.
PSG: To-date, as a coach, what has brought you the most fulfilment working with clients ?
In my work with Pure Results Bootcamp with Kathryn Thomas, I have been lucky enough to work with approximately 1000 clients, with clients looking to get a kick start and achieve a goal. Many times I get to work with clients individually and coach them in their specific personal goals. I always leave my personal contact details with them and tell them to let me know how they get on. I get so much fulfilment when I get a text or an email out of the blue from a client a number of months later when a client has achieved their goal. As the goals are normally health or fitness related, clients are normally feeling much fitter and stronger and this gives me great fulfilment.
PSG: What is something we could all start doing to enable better wellness?
In order to achieve our version of success, we need to have a good base. We need to eat well and move our bodies sufficiently. Good nutrition and regular exercise keeps our minds clear and keeps our bodies functioning at a higher level. This is the basis for any success.
